Man Down: The Crisis Among Men and How to Help Them Come Back to Real Life

In this presentation, Brad discusses why men either seem to be too hard or too soft, leading them to acting out in toxic ways. He will share why this may be happening and how social workers can help them return to or create a state of balance which allows them to be happier, more productive, less abusive, and more engaged in healthy living.

Cancellation Policy

While we understand that emergencies do occur, once a participant has been registered and is expected to attend a course, the NASW-Nevada Chapter has already factored that person’s attendance into costs already absorbed by the chapter. Therefore our cancellation policy is as follows (unless stated otherwise):

  • Cancellations received more than three (3) weeks out from a course can submit a written request for a refund in full at 100% cost to admin.naswnv@socialworkers.org
  • Cancellations received within three (3) weeks of a CEU training or workshop date are eligible to reschedule ONE TIME for $20.00 for one of the next three available review course dates. There are no refunds for cancellations received within three weeks of the course date. Rescheduling requests must be submitted BEFORE the day of the event. Requests received AFTER the event has begun will NOT be accepted.
  • Any no show for a course without prior cancellation notification will not be eligible for a refund nor the option to attend a future course at the absorbed cost.
